Doug Curving started his career in the paint business following graduation from college in 1989. He began by working for a large corporation’s store division, progressing through the ranks in different positions and locations - until eventually becoming manager of a large store in the Greater Boston area. Following 8-1/2 years of service, Doug began growing tired of the corporate ‘pecking order’ and dictated path. He sought out other options within the industry using his developed skills and experience. In 1997, after initial contact with representatives of Benjamin Moore Paints, Doug proposed and developed the idea for opening the independent store which is Westboro Paint & Decorating.
Doug’s philosophy is to serve you the homeowner, contractor or commercial customer with a total quality experience, delivered through people and products which make your trip to our store pleasurable, and an experience you will want to repeat in the future. We endeavor to offer the different quality brands of products coupled with the professional services you cannot find at the ‘big boxes’ or corporate chain stores.
